EDIT: Also, in your first post you used a sentence FRAGMENT.

The "Ok now."

That should have been something along the lines of "Ok, now (rest of sentence)" or "Ok, now," Or just the comma after now.

The comma represented a pause in the sentence. In this specific example, the comma was used for a dramatic silence of sorts. So, if I am correct, I have not yet lost this grammar war!

A comma is meant to act as a conjunction between sentences. It is meant to say that two sentences were joined here.

I will let you go with this one, but if I happen to find you adding an extra amount of punctuation again I will call you out.
